The Painting That Licked Itself
Gallery 64a invites you to The Painting That Licked Itself, an exhibition of paintings by a small selection of artists that all studied Painting at the Royal College of Art between 2008-2012. Framed by a piece of flash (very short) fiction, The Painting That Licked Itself offers the perspective of the painting itself, perhaps to free itself of any narratives or texts usually applied to it, or it is simply trying to get its own back.
Aidan O’Sullivan, Avis Underwood, Grant Foster, Kate Groobey, Andi Magenheimer, Gavin Toye, Nick Pankhurst, Simon Foxall, Wendy McLean.
The Painting That Licked Itself opens on 9 December and runs until 22 December 2017.
